Volunteer Opportunities

MIDC embraces and puts forth the definition of a Registered Interior Designer as an individual who is qualified by education, experience and examination to affect the function, safety and quality of both private and public interior spaces; that include healthcare, hospitality, retail, office, institutional and residential.

MIDC subscribes to measurable standards for a registered Professional Interior Designer: a professional degree education equivalent to the FIDER (Foundation for Interior Design Education Research) and passage of the NCIDQ (National Council of Interior Design Qualification) competency examination.
